5. Kooper (Paper Mario) |
Let's start this countdown off
with an oldie, but goodie.
Kooper is the only Koopa in his
village with a Blue Shell,
making him really unique. He's
soft spoken and tries to do the
right thing, but sometimes he
just needs a little help. Kooper
also wants to be an archeologist
like his hero Kolorado. |
|
4. Yoshi (Paper Mario: The
Thousand Year Door) |
Two words describe Yoshi from
Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year
Door: Small and Spunky. This
little guy is a real
firecracker, sparking trouble
wherever he goes. He has very
special abilities and uses them
to do the right thing. A little
young, but Yoshi plays it cool.
They grow up so fast, don't
they? |
|
3. Koops (Paper Mario: The
Thousand-Year Door) |
Koops is the counterpart to
Kooper from Paper Mario, 'cept
he goes a little bit deeper.
Koops has his own struggles with
being cool and getting a
girlfriend. The band-aid on the
nose is a nice touch for his
personality, isn't it? Koops
tries and tries and is rewarded
in the end. |

2. Bowser & Peach (Super Mario
RPG: Legends of the Seven Stars) |
You happen to catch the last
time when Bowser, Mario, and
Peach fought on the same side
and were playable? Please let me
know, 'cause I didn't see it.
Having Bowser and Peach as
playable partners took the Mario
series to the next level and
gave Super Mario RPG a great
twist. Oh yeah, did I mention I
haven't really seen such a trio
since? |
|
1. Geno & Mallow (Super Mario
RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars) |
Can you really decide who's
number one between Geno and
Mallow? They're so unique in
their own way, and they came
into Super Mario RPG and seem to
have never left from the minds
of Mario fans. Geno has the
sleek, play-it-cool personality,
which is set up by Mallow's
softer, help me type
personality. Super Mario RPG,
maybe the Mario RPG Series as a
whole, would not complete with
only one of them - there just
needs to be both. |
